Armed Forces Covenant
Armed Forces Covenant is a commitment made by the UK nation to recognise the service and sacrifices of current and former military personnel and their families, ensuring they are treated fairly and without disadvantage. It states that those who serve or have served should not face fewer opportunities than other citizens when using public and commercial services, and that special consideration should be given in certain cases—such as for the injured or bereaved. The Covenant is upheld by government bodies, businesses, charities, and local authorities all working together.
